Two major points to be explored in this series:
1. Jesus is untamed - another name for him is the Lion of Judah.

2. Believers are called (summoned into action) by the untamed Christ.

Galatians 1:15-16
But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles...

Romans 11:29
...for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Ephesians 1:18
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints

Ephesians 4:1
...I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

II Timothy 1:8,9
... But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life-not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace...

II Peter 1:10,11
Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
