Sunday's Service: "I Am the Gate for the Sheep and the Good Shepherd"

Listen to Sunday's message delivered on March 7th, 2010 by Pastor Dan Houze. This message is part of a sermon series entitled "Is Jesus Enough?". Given the times in which we live, it is probably common to ask ourselves if we are enough to face the challenges of this life. While the question, "Am I enough?" is worth wrestling with, the reality is we are not enough! As Christ-followers many of us turn our concerns to our Savior. Our questions become expectations we place in the hands of an all-powerful God. But what if Jesus isn't interested in "fixing" our lives according to our expectations? What if he has something else in mind? We find ourselves wrestling with a new question: "Is Jesus enough?" It's a good question. Our Lord anticipated the question and so throughout the Gospel of John he makes 7 "I am" statements that deal directly with who he is and what he offers those who follow him.

Communion Table Each Sunday

At the front, on each side of the santuary, and at the back are tables with grape juice and bread, the elements of the Lord's Supper. These are provided for those who would desire to take Communion as part of their weekly worship. If you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, feel free to partake in those elements at the appropriate time during our worship service. Celebration of the Lord's Supper corporately takes place on 6-8 week intervals.
